Sean Sweeney Joins PeopleGIS

Sean Sweeney has joined PeopleGIS as Senior GIS Analyst. Mr. Sweeney will oversee MapsOnline project implementation
and maintenance, and work closely with our clients to ensure our technology meets their needs.
Sean has worked in both the public sector at MassGIS and the private sector as a consultant. At MassGIS, Sean was responsible for a multi-agency project to update and maintain statewide roads data for 911 emergency response. In the private sector, Sean worked on a variety of municipal data related projects and GIS programming projects. He has 12 years of prior experience in computer engineering, which give him a distinct perspective on the field of GIS. Sean is also a Senior Lecturer at Northeastern University where he teaches graduate-level courses in GIS and GIS programming.
