ublic’s use. Local residents can easily find the information they are looking for with Google-simple search boxes, making this method of obtaining the data they need simpler than a phone call.
And that is the point! While Public Information Kiosks certainly enhance the level of service our clients provide their communities, the real value is the reduction of phone calls and counter visits that staff need to deal with on a daily basis. Our first Kiosk client experienced an 80% reduction in phone calls immediately upon publication to the Internet, so the value was evident immediately.
Because the information that feeds our Public Information Kiosks is entirely based on our client’s databases in PeopleForms, maintaining the information is entirely
automated. Once a form is built for Real Estate Taxes, Assessing Data, Sewer Billing, Water Billing, Dog Registrations, etc., it can then be added to your Public Information Kiosk to share with the public. Our clients can even create their own PDF reports (as receipts in PeopleForms) for the Public to open in the Public Kiosk. It has never been easier to provide so much current information to the public at such a low cost.
