About PeopleGIS

Eleven years ago, I started PeopleGIS to create a different kind of company; one that is focused on the client and their unique needs for GIS and Information Management technology. I have enjoyed these years immensely, and have learned so much from the experience. I have always loved working with communities and find myself enjoying the work more today than ever before.

PeopleGIS is growing.  We offer clients more value today than ever, largely due to what our clients have taught us.  Our communities have built hundreds of applications with SimpliCITY, managing their data, their assets, and their time.  We believe the municipal market has needed a platform for data sharing that simply has not existed before now.  SimpliCITY is that platform and we are proud of it.

Our success is determined by our client's success.  The more applications they build with our services, the more problems they solve and value they derive from our software, the better our opportunity is to serve them for a long time.  This fact is truly the reason behind our decision to have unlimited licensing.  We are committed to community-wide software that every municipal employee can use on a daily basis.

Thus far, PeopleGIS has been an extremely rewarding adventure. I look forward to more of the same as the success of PeopleGIS continues. It is a truly amazing thing to connect with your clients and work side-by-side. It is even more amazing to realize that although data management systems are built with hardware and software, in reality....
